There are a few stains, scratches and marks across this piece, which you would expect from an item that was originally constructed circa 1910. There is also a split in the top surface; however, this does not affect the structural integrity in any way and adds to its history and character.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe have lovingly restored this piece by stripping away the old, dark finish from the wood before applying a clear lacquer to accentuate the natural oak and provide protection. This chest of drawers is constructed predominantly from solid oak.
