oak-welsh-dresser-3
Oak Welsh Dresser

This practical and attractive Welsh dresser in dark oak is sure to be a much-loved and admired addition to the kitchen, dining room or other family space.

The upper display section features two full-width shelves, each with a groove to support decorative plates, plaques and dishes. This sits on a spacious two-door cupboard with a single shelf, providing storage for crockery, tableware or a variety of other items. This traditional piece of furniture is made of oak with some oak-veneered panels.

Our restoration workshop has stripped the original varnish from this dresser before applying a professional matt lacquer that enhances the dark oak colour as well as giving a good level of protection in everyday use. As with all laquered wood furniture, care is needed when placing hot or sharp items, and we always recommend the use of mats and coasters to avoid future damage. The dimensions show the total height of this dresser, followed in brackets by the height of the lower section to the top of the worksurface. It should be noted from the photographs that we have fitted a wooden block on the back of the right-hand door where a lock used to be, and put a wooden door knob on the front.

Sitting on a traditional turned leg frame, this dresser is sure to complement a range of furnishing styles and decorating schemes, making it an ideal addition to the home.

[dimensions]

[w]109[/w]

[d]51[/d]

[h]200(91)[/h]

[/dimensions]
