Made by well-known and widely-respected British furniture manufacturer Ercol, this sideboard is made from high-quality elm. The high level of craftsmanship that shows throughout this piece is just what you would expect from an Ercol piece.

This classic Elm Ercol Sideboard has a large double cupboard with a full-width shelf that sits below two ample-sized drawers, one of which has a cutlery holder insert that could be removed if needed. The beautiful top surface showcases that wonderful grain synonymous with Ercol pieces, the dowel holes have been filled where this sideboard started out as a dresser, this can be seen in the photographs.  Additionally, you can see a repair to one of the feet shown in the photographs.

We have restored this lovely piece by carefully stripping back the previous darker stain and applying a clear matt lacquer to give a hard-wearing and appealing finish.

Well suited to a variety of rooms, this functional sideboard would also complement a range of decors around any home.
