This chest of drawers is constructed from a mixture of mahogany and mahogany veneer with a pine carcass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have restored this chest of drawers by stripping back the old varnish before applying a clear lacquer to accentuate and preserve the rich tones of the mahogany grain. This is an antique period piece and therefore exhibits some signs of age and wear, with staining on top and a chip to the veneer, but is structurally sound and in excellent condition for its age.
