Our workshop has stripped all previous varnish from this chest of drawers before applying several spray coats of clear lacquer that really enhances the natural wood grain as well as giving a hard wearing finish that will retain the good looks for many years to come. This chest of drawers has a solid oak top surface and frame and oak veneered panels. The rear panel and drawer bases are made from plywood.
