Our restoration workshop has stripped and cleaned this bookcase before applying a matt lacquer finish that enhances the natural woodgrain and provides a good level of everyday protection. As with all lacquered furniture, care is needed when placing hot or sharp items. The construction of this bookcase is made from a mixture of woods, some solid oak and some veneer panels, the back is plywood.
